I know that this is something that you cannot circumvent, unless you develop an Android service.  Moreover, the built-in Android traceview does not seem to work ...

Hi there,   i am using db4o (db4o-6.4.14.8131-java1.2.jar) within an android project and even though the app is now working functionally correct the performance of db4o is extremely bad.
