    Graphics for article

I am about to finish an article about OODBMS, and then I'll start to teach people db4o..

I need statistical graphics such as performance graphics, storage schema,etc..

If anyone has any graphics, please send it to tehlike@aspindir.com, or leave the URL here:)

    Thanks:)

    Yeah,
Me and @Tehlike are trying to teach develoopers the db4o.
We have a community about .NET and we will share them our experience about db4o.

    Great!

I've sent Tehlike graphics to use in his article.

Good luck in building a local Turkish community!  So far we can identify 36 registered users, so we can assume that the number of members of the community in Turkey is already north of 100.

Light bulb [(I)] Re: Graphics for article

It will be a good idea to tell a news about progress in performance in other tests except Barcelona circuit. What do you think?

    Best Regards. Max.

    Re: Graphics for article

Hi guys. Good news: I've completed the article about OODBMS and started telling db4o a bit :)

Thank all, for graphics and interest.

UnquaLe is right, we'll teach them db4o(as much as we know). We thought about creating Turkish Community Web Application but then, we cancelled it. My reason was not knowing much thing about db4o, and not having enough experience(but i have 2 years to study the source code and i begin to study ASAP). We don't have enough thing to put, what we will do will be the same with the tuttorial samples.

I have a dream(like Martin Luther King:P), one day db4o will be the #1 in dbase systems. and google will be the king of the internet:)
That's my dream so i am the part of the dream so that
, i try to do something as much as i can, advertise db4o to people as many as possible.

When people ask me "whats that", i tell them it is the best in db system and will change your habbits..

Maybe you wont believe me but, before i sleep, i think of db4o.

I wish there were a company like db4o in Turkey but Turkish developer are don't plan to achieve great things...

By the way, i am very emotional today, arent I:)

    Re: Graphics for article

Let's share your will as community efforts. I'm going to write an article for Japanese community, too.

I wonder is there any way to make these efforts last.

I know many users write their own test cases in order to get better understandings about how db4o works. If we have shared these cases, every user could make their productivity more efficient. And you could leverage these cases for your articles. Or vice versa.

    Re: Graphics for article

    Hi again,

In 1-2 weeks I plan to continue writing articles but don't know what to do(i don't want just translating tuttorial, i  need something original)

What can I do? Does anyone have an idea? db4o is getting famous in my friendgroup :P I want to make it more interesting, so that, it will be easy to advertise db4o:)

    Great!

I have no idea about what you can do. But what I'm going to write for newbie are:

    1. Think db4o like an extention of JVM/GabageCollector for persistence, not the other form of DBMS
    2. See how objects are fetched, updated, and deactivated with visual memory profiling
    3. Make the best query performance of db4o(know how db4o is optimized)

I hope the first chasm in the db4o learning path would be filled with these documents.Smile [:-)] I think the second chasm depends on one's implementation. That could be supported by dDN for now.
