db4oProviders Release 1.0 now available

These are custom ASP.NET 2.0 providers which use db4o as back-end. Beginning with Membership Provider, Role Provider, and Profile Provider. Code is based on MSDN sample code and is unit-tested. Version 1.0 uses db4o 7.4 and C# 3.0. Prior versions of source use db4o version 6.1 and C# 2.0. http://www.codeplex.com/db4oProviders

sql4o 1.1.0 released

Now 1.1.0 is also released, allowing sql4o to be used with JDKs using JDBC4 (i.e JDK1.6+)

db4o integration for Castle is now a top-level project

As part of recent structural changes to the way subprojects are handled in the Castle Project, dVP Henry Conceicao will lead the db4o Integration project which as of now becomes a top-level project, having its own release cycle. Also, dVP Tuna Toksöz will be lead commiter for the project NHibernateIntegration.

Castle is an open source project for .NET that aspires to simplify the development of enterprise and web applications.

DataNucleus Access Platform 1.0.2 (Faraday branch) released

DataNucleus Access Platform is a standards-compliant Java persistence product. It is fully compliant with the JDO1, JDO2, JDO2.1, and JPA1 Java standards.
New in this release: JDO has been upgraded to 2.2 final. ASM has been upgraded to 3.1. Fixes to L2 caching have been made. A JDK1.5 method has been removed, allowing use with JDK1.3/4. A fix to handling of URLs with the db4o plugin has been made. A fix to XMLIdRef handling with the XML plugin has been made.

DataNucleus Access Platform version 1.1 extends the 1.0 capabilities aiming for increased stability, performance as well as adding on a more complete feature set for some datastores. This version has been upgraded to support db4o 7.0 and above (among other changes). Restlet 1.1 RC2 released

Release 1.1 RC2 of Restlet is out, with all known bugs closed (more than 20 fixed!). In this version db4o was updated to version 7.4.58 (among other changes)

sql4o 1.0.0 is out!

Announcing the release of sql4o version 1.0.0, providing SQL queries over db4o datastores. sql4o was originally written by Travis Reeder, and in May 2008 was transferred to the DataNucleus project under the Apache 2 license. This is the first full release, and will be part of DataNucleus Access Platform version 1.0
Documentation is provided on the DataNucleus site and is available for download.

DataNucleus AccessPlatform 1.0 FINAL released

Announcing the release of DataNucleus AccessPlatform version 1.0.0 (final), providing Java persistence to a large range of datastores including db4o using JDO or JPA APIs.
Limited free support is provided by way of an online forum, while commercial support is also available for those requiring something more reliable.
